What is an 8BPLUS MINI?
An 8BPLUS MINI is a miniature version of the original 8BPLUS character chalk bags. It has a working drawstring closure, a soft fleece lining and a sewn-on metal snap clip, so it is a real, functional pouch, not a solid or stuffed figure. There are 15 characters to collect.
Is the 8BPLUS MINI a keychain or a bag charm?
Both. The sewn-on clip attaches it to a keyring, a backpack, a belt loop, a zip pull or a gym bag. Clip it wherever you want it.
How big is a MINI?
About 6-7cm in size. Roughly the size of a tennis ball.
What can you put inside a MINI?
It opens with a drawstring like a real chalk bag. It fits a set of keys, your Earbuds case, lip balm, coins and similar sized items. It is fleece-lined, so whatever goes in is protected.
Does the drawstring actually work?
Yes. Every MINI has a fully functional closure, built the same way as our full size chalk bags. Pull it tight and it stays shut.
What is a MINI made of and how much does it weigh?
100% polyester outer with a soft fleece lining and a metal snap clip. It weighs about 40 grams, so it adds almost nothing to your bag
How does it attach?
A metal clip carabiner is sewn into the seam of each MINI. It clips to a backpack, handbag, harness loop, keys or anything you want.
Can I use the MINI as a chalk bag?
Theoretically yes, it is made of the same materials as our chalk bags, but technically it would be very inconvenient, except you like to chalk up your fingertips only. Keys, Earphones, coins, etc. fit better.
Is it suitable for children?
It is not a toy. Contains mall parts, and is therefore not suitable for children under 3.
Do MINIS make a good gift for a climber?
Yes, that's why we make them. It is small, useful and collectible, it ships in its own pouch, and each character has a personality, so you can pick the one that fits the person. It is one of the easier climbing gifts to get right.
