How big is an 8BPLUS chalk bag?
15 x 15 cm, with a 12.5 cm opening and a weight of 125 g. Your whole hand goes in without scraping the rim, and it’s light enough that you forget it’s on your back.
What comes with the bag?
Three free extras ship with every bag: an adjustable belt (XS to XL), a clip carabiner, and a gift and storage pouch. You can wear it or clip it on straight away.
What are the bags made of?
They are made of the highest quality artificial fur we can source. Premium fur outside and soft fleece inside. A drawstring keeps the chalk where it belongs, and two brush holders keep your brush within reach.
Are these for Adults?
YES! They are designed for adult sized hands. Kids can also use and climb with our original 8BPLUS chalk bags, however we suggest to to check out our smaller sized KIDS CHALK BAGS Collection, which is made for ages 5-12.
Which chalk bag is best for gym climbing?
Any of them. They all share the same size, closure and build, so pick the monster you’d be happy to be seen with. Joey is the loud one, Felix is the teddy, and Stan is the mummy. If a bag makes you grin before a hard attempt, it’s doing its job.
What’s the difference between a chalk bag and a boulder bag?
A chalk bag hangs on your belt, which suits sport climbing and gym sessions. A boulder bag is bigger and sits on the floor, so you can dip both hands without a belt. Do you climb on a rope or bring a crash pad? Take a chalk bag if you’re on a rope and a boulder bag if you’re on a pad.
Is chalk included?
No. Your 8BPLUS Chalk Bag Monster arrives hungry. Add a Refillable Chalk Bomb or something from our Climbing Chalk section to make it ready for its first climb.
How do I clean it?
Damp cloth and mild detergent, handwash only. No machine wash, no tumble dry. Keep it in the storage pouch between sessions.
Is this a toy?
No. It is real climbing gear. Not suitable for children under 3 (small parts), supervised use under 8.
